Elijah Quashie, also known as The Chicken Connoisseur, will present a new show on Channel 4 called The Peng Life, in which they will follow the side-breast-specialist around the UK as he analyses the best in street style and food. Elijah Quashie is renowned for reviewing London-based chicken shops, and sneakers, for his YouTube channel; his viral videos have racked up millions of views and he recently landed himself a book deal with Blink Publishing.

Speaking with The Guardian, Becky Cadman, Channel 4’s factual entertainment commissioner, said: "We're here to develop ideas with exciting, raw British talent and Elijah has shown these qualities in bucketloads. We could not pass on the chance to bring his captivating presence to TV."

The Channel 4 programme will be made by Renowned Films.
