Widely considered to be the producer that kick-started the 'instrumental grime' movement that roared through the internet from 2012 onwards ("Quartz"), Bloom's been a little quiet lately. Fortunately for us, that silence is over as he blesses us with new track "Nutrient" and an EP announcement.

The EP in question, Sfumato (no, we don't know how to pronounce it either), drops Nov. 23 via Crazylegs and promises six original productions, including "Nutrient". The new production does still feature some identifiable elements of those grimier days, but the evolution in his sound is huge. Far more experimental in tone, "Nutrient" is definitely one of his most adventurous and challenging productions and could even sit quite nicely in the soundtrack for a particularly disturbing horror film.
