Ever since he emerged as a few years ago, West London sprayer Big Zuu has kept himself right at the forefront of the grime scene. Whether it's hosting The Joints Show on Radar, releasing solo material, guest spots, live shows and more, there's rarely a day we don't hear his name at least once.

Last night, Zuu dropped the long-awaited Hold Dat EP, a four-track collection that shows off his versatility as an MC as well as anything he's ever put out. There's the reflective opener "Blatant Truth", the reload-worthy banger "Hold Dat", grime-rap crossover "Playing Games" with Merky Ace, and finally "Swag On Riddims", a lyrical workout so dense it could work as an acapella.

With production coming from Tre Mission, Lolingo, Merky Ace (as Splurt Diablo), JG and Nyge, Hold Dat is the sound of an MC pushing himself.
