TRENCH Radio: 12 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

Is winter finally starting to ebb? Science says "no", but we say "maybe?" Foolhardy or not, if you're out raving this weekend, we've got the surefire party starters to kick things off right. First off, Mr. Mitch added the third volume to his Devout mix series with a subtly uplifting collection of club tracks that should ease you out of the week's stresses; London producer/singer/songwriter/DJ/model/photographer Larry B served up a very appealing combination of R&B and dance heat; Jampak returned with even more grimey thunder; Bristol badman Kahn got dark and dubby in his latest live mix; Norwegian selector Beatwell delved into the golden age of disco for a hedonistic session; and finally, the master, Kenny Dope crafted a beautifully warm and uplifting selection of classic house, jazz, funk and more to really chase out the frost.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
