TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

This week we got another reminder of jazz's ever-increasing innovations in the form of French producer Sampling As An Art (aka S3A) and his inspired selection of funk, soul and even house-infused jazz. Elsewhere this week, So Future boss and All About Good Music founder K2RAH (pictured) did what she does best with a no-filler round of smooth club bangers; DJ and Gassed Bristol founder KAKE came through with a heart-racing mix of bassline thumpers; we got a true voyage of a mix from O'Flynn that took us through highs and lows woven together with warm and colourful electronics; and if you're feeling particularly wild, there's Abyss X's teeth-kicking mix of abrasive and distorted electronics. There's gabber in that one though, so be careful.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
