TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

To kick things off, Dappa and Logan Sama served up some hyped up UKG mixes; Spooky dropped off a live mix of his own productions, dubplates and grimey rarities; the legendary Egyptian Lover reminded us of his peerless record bag; Femme Culture's Ehua (pictured) pulled together a hypnotising gqom mix of breaks and bass; L.A selector So Drove continued the percussive theme with his hot and heavy club selections; the always irreverent Finn took us back to New Year with his mix for the night's proceedings, recorded live in Soup Kitchen's basement right after midnight; and, finally, Detroit-based DJ and producer Dream beach cooled things down with his mix of blissed out rap and club tracks.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
