TRENCH Radio: 10 Of The Best Mixes This Week

SoundCloud (while it still lives) can be an impenetrable, infinite stream of music, often of varying quality. You need a soundtrack to start your weekend right, but you don't have the requisite lifetime to trawl through the week's new DJ mixes. To help you out, we've done the busy work for you. We'll be running this series every single Friday of every single week to bring you the very finest in house, grime, techno, bashment, R&B, trap, D&B and no doubt a bunch of extremely trendy stuff that doesn't have a name yet.

First off, Mykki Blanco-approved Toronto selector Bambii stepped up with an unhinged selection of warped hip-hop and R&B; West London's Krabs gave us his best with 40 minutes of upbeat and jazzy R&G smoothness; Spooky pulled the rug from under us with an expertly compiled UKG session; Crazy Cousinz upped the energy even more with his percussion-led stack of house bangers; L.A beatsmith Great Dane served us a haunting half hour of bass-heavy productions from him and his affiliates; New York's Embaci took us way out of our comfort zone with a mind-expanding mix that included everything from Arca to Annie Lennox; and, finally, Teklife mainstay Sirr Tmo educated us on the worlds of footwork, juke and ghettohouse, both old and new school with his latest mix.

This is TRENCH Radio's best mixes of the week.
