A couple of weeks ago, NTS regular Impey launched his brand new label Ghost Notes (no relation to the club, we’re told). With the announcement came news of the label’s first record, The Deluge, a three-track release from the man himself. Buy the whole thing and you’ll get two original productions—“The Deluge” and “The Alchemist”—and a remix of the latter from Kromestar.

He’s already shared the title track and now we’re sharing the Kromestar remix of “The Alchemist”, a darker and more menacing twist on the original. The rest of the release—and the label as a whole—still draws on grime as an influence but his palette has expanded somewhat. Alongside co-founder O-Dessa, Impey promises that Ghost Notes will be taking a more global and musical approach to its output, something listeners to their NTS show won’t be surprised by.
