Deep Cuts: Roll Deep

For a lot of people, particularly if you live outside of London, Roll Deep was the gateway to grime. If you're one of those people, you probably came across the expansive crew via In At The Deep End (even if you tell everyone it was the Creeper mixtapes).

Over the years, Roll Deep has included some of the UK's greatest mic men and producers, such as Wiley, Dizzee Rascal, Flowdan, Scratchy, Jme, Skepta, God's Gift, Danny Weed, DJ Target, Karnage, Jamakabi, Manga, J2K, Riko, Trim, Roachee, Brazen, Breeze, Jet Li, Syer B and more, and together they brought grime from the underground and into the mainstream consciousness.

In At The Deep End was probably Roll Deep's biggest album to date, but there's a vast sea of forgotten classics and slept-on masterpieces in the back catalogue of the Roll Deep Entourage. With the bulk of the production coming from the core powerhouse of Wiley, Danny Weed and Target, Roll Deep had a limitless supply of bangers at their disposal.

Dig deep below and you'll be amazed at how many anthems Roll Deep were responsible for.
