North London rapper Little Simz spent her early teenage years building her artistry on the live circuit. It wasn't until she kick-started her AGE 101 EP series, in 2014, that the world was set ablaze with her lyrical dexterity. Not beholden to any one scene, label or clique, Simz evolved herself into a fully-formed original artist and was quickly rewarded with a MOBO nomination. Since then, she's remained impossible to categorise——forward thinking in her creative direction——and has broken huge ground Stateside.

After the release of her latest album, Stillness In Wonderland, Simz has stayed on top of our timelines constantly. Whether it's dropping videos for tracks from the album, collabing with other artists (e.g. Gorillaz), or swinging by the BET Awards to drop a jaw-dropping cypher, Simz is really out here and it seems people are finally starting to catch on.
