DEEP CUTS: CHIP

Chip, the self-proclaimed "grime scene saviour", needs no introduction. We're all familiar with his rise through the grime scene at what was a staggeringly young age. We should also be familiar with his mainstream chart success and subsequent return to grime, all guns blazing, and the many wars he started (and won) upon his return.

Though a few characters were sceptical of Chip's return to grime, he quickly put those doubts to rest with a dizzying and relentless series of war dubs. Look, you can google the rest if you're one of the last people who missed all that. The important thing to take away from all of this is that he's back.

Besides the war dubs, one of Chip's most notable endeavours was the League Of My Own II, a towering accomplishment that laid out the North London rapper's journey to the present day. The enormous 17-track collection was the final nail in the coffin of the doubters and featured one of the most star-studded list of features: Ghetts, Giggs, 67, Donae'O, D Double E, Jammer, Jme, Miraa May and Wiley. Here are a few more songs, old and new, that you may have slept on.
